Growing up all I ever wanted to do was play sport. Being active (and competitive) is in my DNA. As a promising junior in both tennis and hockey, I was asked by the relevant coaches to choose between them in order to give myself the best chance of ‘making it’. I couldn’t decide. I loved both. They both brought me different things. This early desire to cross disciplines has been replicated in my adult life. My sporting life has continued to grow, alongside my professional life, the latter taking in corporate law at Magic Circle Firm Linklaters, University tutoring, training and development roles and more recently, a significant focus on developing senior leaders and leadership teams.

NED Roles, and a deep knowledge of the mindset and behaviours that drive world class performance, combined with a broad perspective and insight, has helped me support senior people and teams in a way that interests, motivates and galvanises them into action and improvement. Storytelling is a key part of my toolbox, and elite sport provides some brilliant stories on people and team development.
